The urgency is to create and multiply green spaces. The mindset is to be directed towards greening up. Ottawa is not only the seat of the national government; it is also a planning hub. The two greatest contributors to GHG emissions are buildings and transportation. Since the objective is to match GHG’s to greenery the emphasis will be borne onto the transformation of buildings and the urban landscape in order to create environmental mitigation by natural processes. 'GHG's match greenspaces in Ottawa' documents a way forward in matching Ottawa’s GHGs with greenspaces - simply click on the button.
